Girish held the black-n-white photo fixing it with his faraway gaze.

woman spoke.
“No, wrong number,” he hung up.
Girish eyed the photo of his college crush
one final time, little realizing that his lips had just spoken to her after 50
years.

Hi Bushra. Your generous accolades are much appreciated,but you've no dearth of talent. Agree that I have done more '55 fiction' than you, but your poems and other posts have qualities that I truly admire. That 'rain' poem reminded me of my childhood. It was just pure delight.
